Certifications
Bajocchi provides with all of its diamond creations a certificate of authenticity; each one is unique and numbered.
Diamonds that weigh over 0.50 carats also have their own certificate, provided by gemological laboratories such as HRD (Hoge Raad voor Diamant) and GIA (Gemological Institute of America). They issue certificates that verify the diamond’s authenticity and evaluate all the stone’s characteristics in a non-biased manner.Both of these certificates must be carefully stored away, particularly the second one, as neither the Maison nor the HRD or GIA keep copies of it.

One of the most widely recognised independent diamond grading laboratories in the world, the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) created the international diamond grading system we use today to value diamonds - the 4Cs.
ABOUT HRD CERTIFICATE
The Diamond Lab of HRD Antwerp was founded in 1976 to meet the growing demand for reliable diamond certificates or grading reports. It's the largest diamond lab in the world to conform to the rules for grading polished diamonds set by the International Diamond Council (IDC).
